 Al-An'am(Arabic: ٱلْأَنْعَام‎ al-ʾAnʿām, "The Cattle")[1] is the 6th part (sūrah) of the Qur'an, with 165 refrains (āyāt). Its principle themes are monotheism, revival, paradise and hellfire. Concerning timing and logical foundation of the alleged disclosure (Asbāb al-nuzūl), it is a "Meccan surah", which implies it is accepted to have been uncovered in Mecca, rather than Medina.

The surah reports the narrative of the prophet Abraham,[Quran 6:74–80] who, by utilizing his own explanation, calls others to quit adoring heavenly bodies and turns towards Allah with the goal that he could get disclosure.
