 Al-Anfal (Arabic: ٱلْأَنْفَال‎, al-ʾAnfāl, "The Spoils of War" is the eighth section (sūrah) of the Quran, with 75 refrains (āyāt). Concerning timing and logical foundation of the alleged disclosure (Asbāb al-nuzūl), it is a "Medinan surah", finished after the Battle of Badr.
