 Ar-Raʻd (Arabic: الرعد‎, "The Thunder") is the thirteenth part (sūrah) of the Qur'an, made out of 43 refrains (āyāt). It has Muqattat (Quranic initials) المر (Alif. Lam. Mim. Ra or ALMR).

The objective of the Sura: the intensity of truth and the shortcoming of misrepresentation.

It chooses the unity of God, the message, the day of atonement and the punishment. The Sura spins around a significant hub that what is truth is clear through force and steadiness. Furthermore, what is lie is clear through its shortcoming. Regardless of how it is spruced up and regardless of how it professes to be reality.
