Al-Qaṣaṣ (Arabic: القصص‎, "The Story") is the 28th section (sūrah) of the Qur'an with 88 stanzas (āyāt).

As per Ibn Kathir's discourse, the section takes its name from stanza 25 wherein the word Al-Qasas happens. Lexically[disambiguation needed], qasas intends to relate occasions in their legitimate arrangement. Accordingly, from the perspective of the significance as well, this word can be a reasonable title for this Surah, for in it the itemized story of the Prophet Moses has been connected.
