Asbāb al-nuzūl (events or conditions of disclosure) is an auxiliary type of Qur'anic interpretation (tafsir) coordinated at setting up the setting in which explicit sections of the Qur'an were uncovered. Described Zayd ibn Arqam: While I was with my uncle, I heard Abd-Allah ibn Ubayy saying, "Don't spend on the individuals who are with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), that they may scatter and leave (from him). Then Allah uncovered:- - 'When the wolves in sheep's clothing come to you, they state: 'We take the stand you are in fact the Apostle of Allah." (63.1) So the Prophet (ﷺ) sent for me and recounted it and stated, "Allah has affirmed your announcement
