ikhlash is an Arabic word the meaning of it is Sincerity.

otherwise called al-Tawḥīd(Monotheism") is the 112th part (sūrah) of the Quran. In the early long periods of Islam, some surahs of the Quran came to be known by a few distinct names, in some cases fluctuating by region.This surah was among those to get various titles. It is a short presentation of tawhid, Allah's outright unity, comprising of four ayat. Al-Ikhlas signifies "the immaculateness" or "the refining".

It is contested whether this is a Meccan or Medinan sura. The previous appears to be increasingly plausible, especially since it appears to have been insinuated by Bilal of Abyssinia, who, when he was being tormented by his brutal ace, is said to have rehashed "Ahad, Ahad!" (one of a kind, alluding as here to God). It is accounted for from Ubayy ibn Ka'b that it was uncovered after the polytheists asked "O Muhammad! Reveal to us the genealogy of your Lord."
